The 2016 Annual Art Festival has been canceled and will not be planned for another date this year.

Due to low membership, staff members, and volunteers at this point in time, we made the difficult decision to take this year off from hosting our annual Fall Art Festival.

Participate in the Fall Harvest Festival, Sunday, October 9, 2016, 12:00pm-5:00pm
Livingston Street fields

This is a great opportunity for some members to show and sell artwork, or connect with other artists in town! If you are interested in participating and want to display or sell your artwork, please email Jeannette jwaugh38@mac.com

There will not be a theme for the TCA ornaments this year. The only rule will be that any submitted ornaments must be homemade by a member. It would be ideal if members could make at least 1 ornament per person, maybe 2 if you are feeling inspired! We will be collecting finished ornaments the week before Thanksgiving (date & place yet to be determined) and return your ornaments back to you when the tree comes down at the end of December.

About the Tewksbury Community of Artists:

Established in 1993, the Tewksbury Community of Artists has been a group of talented members that range from young adults to seniors and practice all forms of art. They live in all parts of New England. The Tewksbury Community of Artists are funded by dues, donations and in part by the Tewksbury Local Council (Massachusetts State Cultural Council).

Our Group has had demonstrations of various art forms and also workshops which have been advertised and open to the public. Annually, the Tewksbury of Community of Artists has a Members Only Show where members can display, demonstrate and sell their art. Senior high school students can also participate for a chance to receive one of three scholarships.

Each Fall, the Group has an Annual Art Festival. Participants in this event include students from all the schools in Tewksbury, members, and non-members. Since the Annual Art Festival incorporates students and any other artist, it is one of the greatest cultural events of the Town. There is light refreshments and a chance to meet the artists.
