Biography of Barbara Antinoro ![]() Barbara at the 2008 Annual Art Festival. Barbara Antinoro has lived in Tewksbury for over 40 years. She has always had an interest in drawing and painting. She did not develop her painting skills until she retired from retail 12 years ago. She is mostly self-taught, with some instruction from painting classes at the Senior Center. Barbara's paintings are of varied subjects. She enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes, still-life and animals. All her work is done in oil paint which is her favorite medium, although she has done some pencil drawings. Her work has won several awards and ribbons at the Tewksbury Community of Artists shows. Her paintings fill her home and the homes of her children and many relatives and friends. She has had her work displayed at the Tewksbury Library and also at the Art Show at the Senior Center. Barbara is married to her husband, Sam, for almost 50 years. They have three children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also has her cat, Poppy, who can be found somewhere in most of her paintings.
