Biography of Michael Bone – 2008
Michael Bone is a relatively new photographer. He is self-taught, mostly learning from trial-and-error and from online resources. He works strictly in digital photography and uses a Sony DSC-F707 camera with a Sony HVL-F1000 flash. Minor touchup and corrections are done in Paintshop Pro. Michael was inspired to purchase his first real camera and try photography by some of the photos taken by his father, Dennis Bone. He has mainly focused on nature and macro photography and some formal portraits of family members. Michael has been a member of the TCA for less than a year and has only entered one show, where he won three ribbons and the Chairperson’s Award for the four photos he entered. Michael was raised in Tewksbury, MA and graduated from Shawsheen Tech in Billerica, MA. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where he obtained his Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering. He is currently married and lives in Manchester, NH with his wife, Christine, and two children, Emily and Abby.
